ORCHID SEED:

The list below is something that was passed along to me many years ago and can be used as a basis for a place to start with how long to keep your pod on the plant.  In our books we have an extensive list.  We will add this in the future.

If your seed pod begins to separate then the seed has fully ripened and would be considered Dry Seed when it is to be flasked.  There are many ways to store the seed but the best method is in folded paper.  DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGGIES!  Plastic will cause the seed to mold.
