Plant shown: Den moniliforme ‘Tennkoumaru’

We have just been introduced to a very unique miniature Dendrobium (about 4" plants). This particular Dendrobium has various color forms in the leaf of the plant. Some leaves are green and white, some green and yellow, some yellow and green, some green, white and purple on the same plant. Most of the flowers are white. The pseudobulbs also have various coloring in them as well. These are some very nice looking plants! I have never seen these plants until now and we can help you acquire them into your windowsill or greenhouse. We will let you BEFORE your order is taken if there is any increase in the fees of these plants. In the event that the supply of plants has depleted we will keep your name on hand and contact you with the next shipment.

Culture:

Plants do well inside or outside. They are very hardy too. We were told of seeing them growing in Japan in the snow at 4000’. Lowest recommended temperature is 35 degrees, high in the summer at 90 degrees. Dry for the cold period and use rainwater and lots of light and air movement for the summer. Nearly every 6 months the plant grows two new pseudobulbs as well. It does not take a long time this way to make a small plant a great plant. These plants are often used as Bonsai plants.
