Each FL OZ of honey is about 1.5 OZ by weight which is the typical way honey is sold so we will be changing our labels to reflect that on future batches.

Much of our honey is harvested from "Flow Hive" units.. This method does not cause tremendous disruption to the hive as it can be "harvested" with out the need to remove the comb from the hive and they can immediately begin filling it again.  The honey is then allowed to flow through  "screens" that is approximately 400 microns to remove any unwanted items. We are setting up a little larger ability but this honey is JUST HONEY and it is NEVER HEATED after harvesting in order to preserve the reason you want to use honey in the first place!!!!! We soon may also be able to offer honey with some comb in the jar as well.

You will find the "Hex Jars" are a little more per ounce than the other styles.  That is only because the jars themselves are more expensive.  We are needing to order traditional 1lb jars of honey for honey judging so in time we will also have those available for sale as well.
