Dendrobium wassellii

This is a very unusual Dendrobium.  The plant looks like a Brassavola nodosa and the flowers are these that open seemingly "upside down".  We are growing it mounted on a coconut fiber plaque.  Originally we it was potted and it did not seem to do as well.  This flower is about 3/4 to 1 inch.  It is small enough that our digital camera had a hard time focusing on it.  This is about the 20th photo we took to get a sharp one.
